Eva disponible dans Transit: un nouveau partenariat solidifiant l’offre locale de transport durable

Starting today, Transit riders in the Montreal area can count on a new ridehail option to plan their trips. The Montreal cooperative Eva is now integrated into the app. This means that the thousands of Montrealers who use Transit every day can view and compare the real-time arrival times of Eva and other options nearby, plan direct trips from point A to B or by combining Eva with other modes of transportation, and book a ride. To celebrate the launch, users get a $5 discount on their first Eva trip when they request it through Transit.

This new local mobility option in Montreal joins traditional public transit, BIXI bikes and Communauto vehicles already available in Transit, creating a wide range of sustainable and local choices for the public. In addition, it is possible to find out the price of trips in advance and compare them with trips combining several modes of transportation, directly in Transit‘s trip planner. Transit users can choose the trip and price that suits them best, which is becoming more and more important as the return to the office and the increase in the cost of living and gas prices are causing many people to rethink their commuting habits.

As a Montreal-based company itself, Transit is keen to shine a light on local options, including Eva, in its app:

The members, drivers and passengers, decide together on pricing, commissions and internal policies.
